It contains a single source of animal protein, which helps avoid other animal protein allergens in the diet that might cause symptoms. The specially selected diet recipe does not contain grains or gluten, reducing the risks of allergy to cereal proteins and gluten intolerance. The main protein source of this dry dog food is salmon – it is not a common pet allergen, making them a significantly safe protein source for dogs with food allergies or sensitivities. Insect proteins are highly digestible, which means that pets can get more nutrients from them, leading to better overall health and well-being. Insects have a very high protein content that is easily digestible due to their balanced amino acid profile, low chitin content, and lack of anti-nutrients. This means that pets can absorb the protein from insects efficiently, leading to better development and health. Also, one of the biggest benefits is that the diet has high Linoleic acid (LA), which is an essential n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid that must be provided in the diet of dogs.
